The turtle is carved,
with angled and
broken tile. This was a
gift. 1' x 1'
You'll recognize this
face in another piece
of mine. I was
unhappy with it so I
added some
background and made
it a piece of it's own.
My first portrait,
mostly of floor tile,
except for the dark
brown in the hair
and neck.
1' x 1'
One of my earlier
pieces, I made the
lizard blend in with the
background, and
experimented with
cutting marbles for the
eye. 1'x1'
This piece is carved,
done on a roughed
piece of concrete
backer board in order
to draw more attention
to the theme of the
figure. 3' x 1'
Porcelain and ceramic floor tile,
resides at my residence
6' x 3.5'
This was a gift to a
family member who
had to have lily's. I
made it fairly
simple for a
Christmas gift.
1' x 2'
Rooster
3.5' x 3.5'
Flood 3.5' x 1.5'
Demetra Heye made these to go in
tables on the riverwalk. Approx 1.5'
diameter.
This piece was done as a gift to the
fire academy as I graduated. I inlaid
silver and copper mirror, as well as
blue glass. This design was picked by
the graduating class as a straight
forward city scene. The center has
red and yellow mosaic glass.
3' x 5'
Note**********
As I photograph other
pieces I will add them on
the website.
This is an Asian night tree done for the
inside of a shower.
5' x 5'
Asian tree with mirrors to match
the night Asian tree. 3' x 5'
This dragon was supposed to
contrast with the Asian trees.
The colors for this dragon
was carefully picked to match
the Asian trees. 2.5' x 5'
The Man 3' x 5'
This piece was done from a painting by Camille Pissarro in
1883. I liked it, and thought it look good as a mosaic. Here
I reconstructed the face to give it a more 3D look, verses
the small piece from above. 3' x 4'
'The Kiss' was made at the request of
a coworker, the original was painted by
Klimpt. This one measures approx
3'x4'.
